Aux Sable Facilities In Operation

Aux Sable Liquid Products Inc. says its new, world-scale natural gas liquids extraction and fractionation facilities in Channahon, Illinois commenced commercial operation Dec. 1, in conjunction with commercial start-up of Alliance pipeline system.

The Aux Sable facilities will connect with existing product delivery pipelines that will also make NGL products available elsewhere in the United States, the company said in a news release.

Aux Sable's facilities will initially process up to 1.6 bcf of natural gas per day. It is expected to initially recover 40,000 bbls of ethane, 19,000 bbls of propane, 8,000 bbls of butane (normal and iso-butane) and 3,000 bbls of natural gasoline per day. Marketing of all production from the Channahon plant will be handled from Aux Sable's new corporate headquarters in Lisle, Illinois.
